Autumn’s Southern Sunrise

September 24, 2016 By Andy Bozeman 2 Comments

fall-leaves-hbsxs[dropcap]September[/dropcap] is finished on the calendar, but I don’t think Nature’s looking. The rains last week made everything grow. The recent heat dried it all out again. This morning saw an Autumn dawn. The temperature was cool like Fall, the air had the scent of dried leaves, again like Fall, yet that crisp aroma is rising on heated waves of grass flavored steam, a signal that Summer is far from letting go. The breeze is warm, the Sun is bright, and the Cicadas are singing like it’s their last song. Autumn and Summer have come together like good friends.

    Happy Hey!
I have always enjoyed reading. I have been so consumed into other worlds. Not able to stop reading, until the last page is turned. I know tablets and ebooks are the “modern reading tools.” I just can not get into them. I love everything about a actual book in my hands. Still reading makes writting fun too. Thanks for sharing you enjoyment in writting.

I agree about ‘real’ books. Feeling a page turn, anticipating the words about to be revealed; this makes reading fun. But, if a modern world demands digital page-turns, I’ll do that, too, just to keep reading. Thanks for the comment. AB
