Gone Something Something Wind

November 10, 2017 By Andy Bozeman 1 Comment

I want to be a writer. I have so many ideas. The problem, in the midst of these days of the slathering on of multimedia content covering all possible topics and in every known genre is culling out things I’ve seen or read, and keeping only my original thoughts.

Here are some ideas I’m working on :

  • A musical, a political western, about the struggles of transitioning from pioneer to settler to state citizen. The theme song is jingling in my head : O-K-L-A-H-O-M…, but that’s where I’m stuck.
  • Another idea for a musical contains this: “The hills are alive with”…. what? I think it might be a horror story. There’s something really bad in those hills.
  • A family of animals (maybe bears) and a little blonde girl: While the family is on an outing, she moves in uninvited, then refuses to leave, her rights to stay protected by state renter regulations. The animals have to call in a specialist, a local wolf who is in the feral pig eradication business. Not sure how this will end.
  • Of course, there’s the header for this post. I love where the title is headed, but, as yet, have no ideas for the heroine or protagonist. I’ll come back to it, later.

Watch for these and other Andy Bozeman originals in bookstores and movie theaters. I think they’ll all be eligible for a Pullet-Surprise. -AB
