A NATION IS SECURE WHEN…
A nation is NOT secure when an enemy can invade its airspace and routinely release a rain of bombs purposed to destroy cities and homes on such a regular basis that streets unswept of rubble and body parts becomes normal.
A nation is NOT secure when an enemy can cross its borders with an unchecked ground invasion and mount attack after attack against that nation’s general population, causing such a desperate need to simply survive, that border security is not even an idle thought.
A nation is NOT secure when competing ideologies murder one another over disagreements of thoughts, then to make sure the other side is killed, kill indiscriminately with bombings and shootings.
A nation IS secure when the most contentious topics for argument its citizens can rally around are who gets the most pay for the least work, who has who’s baby, who has sex with who, and where to pee.
Anyone, whose daily actions are dictated by the preservation for one more minute of personal life, doesn’t have time to argue over restroom access, the prevailing incentive being to urinate where explosions aren’t. Everyone, who has the time to casually fuss, enjoys a wonderful luxury, but a luxury that may not last.
This moment in time marks an unprecedented fork in the road to the future. Never in American history has so great a portion of the population actually considered setting aside The Constitution, that group led by an administration elected under it. The two choices for leadership could not be in more stark opposition.
One candidate is in favor of preventing any sort of invasion of the nation’s borders, as well as stopping dilution of constitutional ideology; to make America self-producing, self-reliant, and self-controlling; to regain its lost position of low debt, low unemployment, high esteem, high integrity, and a strong middle class both motivated and protected by self-government.
The other candidate favors borders wide open and unattended, even offering all comers benefits of health care, sustenance, and the right to vote without the need to join, all at the expense of the next adjacent citizen taxpayer; a population conditioned to yield to dictates of a detached government which does not yoke itself with the same burdens as it yokes the people; and the single ideology of ‘no ideology,’ no integrity, no justice, no protection, just the right to lie and coerce and harvest personal profit, all without consequences of any kind. While justice and protection and integrity are being shown out the door, invaders are coming in, and being welcomed.
It’s better to choose the future which includes national safety, to concentrate on the immediate need of security for America as a whole, and protect the freedom of the pursuit of prosperity for every individual citizen. Then, in the not too distant future, when true security is once again attained, and bombings and shootings are not so common, there will be time for the luxury of arguing over where to pee.
Think first, then vote.
