A Song for My Country Funeral

About my life and all its strife :

Some’s been real good, some’s been bereft,

I’ve used up life, ’til none is left,

When you and me becomes ‘not us,’

It’s no big deal, don’t make a fuss,

I’ve had some fun, but when I’m done,

Just throw me on the compost pile.
