America, How Beautiful !

This is what I believe about my country, and my place in it.

This may be sung to the tune of America The Beautiful.

America is beautiful,

She’s holding many hearts.

Each searching for the liberty

Her majesty imparts.

For every soul who starts the quest

For life more fully lived,

Her beacon glows, so each heart knows,

The freedom that She gives.

Make no mistake,

This land is mine,

To shield it I won’t blink,

To keep Her from the precipice,

To pull back from the brink.

I’ll gladly give my life, my strength,

My fortune and my name,

To keep Her from the ones who say

“A new world must be gained.”

For pushed too far,

I’ll go to you,

Your home will be left bleak,

It’s your mistake to think,

That in my tolerance I’m weak.

I’ll sacrifice my final breath,

This land, I love, to save,

America the Beautiful,

Will build upon your grave.

How Beautiful is every face,

That comes from ‘round the world,

To find the liberty beneath,

That single flag unfurled,

May every form of Righteousness,

Descend on us like Grace,

That we may live in unity,

The one American Race.
